As a climax to the Adult Education Week observance, there was a flag dedication ceremony held at the Center on April 12, 2006.  This dedication, sponsored by the Adult Learning Center Advisory Council, was in recognition and appreciation of our students and staff who are dedicated to the preservation of our liberty by service in Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Troy Jones, Computer Instructor, and Bradley Rich, Computer & AE Instructor, were staff members who served along with several of our graduates.  An Honor Guard representing National Guard Units from Paris, Union City, and Jackson conducted the ceremony with Rusty Taylor, also a veteran of this war, giving the special dedication.  Special Patriotic music was performed by the Dresden High School Chorus under the direction of Blair Chadwick.

Exited adult graduates ride in the Iris Festival Parade, Dresden, Tennessee, proudly proclaiming their accomplishments by wearing their caps, gowns, and displaying GED NOW sign on the side of their car.
